I was on a rune and got a message the train had a fault, disembark passengers at nest station and call the signaller. So next station I'm clicking on the phone with my mouse but nothing happening, I'm then clicking round the cab but the only place I get to zero feet is on the phone, I ended up exiting the sim, what was I doing wrong? Col.
Thanks, also forgot to add, it said disembark the passengers but after I closed the doors they were still on the train. So to call the signaller do I have to exit out to go to the menu, if so do I need to save the game then go back in? Col.
Some routes allow you to get off the train and walk to the phone next to the signal to contact the signaller. Not sure if Southeastern Highspeed has that function though - I couldn't get the ones at Gillingham to work. In-cab phones work though.
usually. I had moments only via tab works. or via tab it doesn't and in cab it works. not sure if it is that the dispatcher is still processing the request or what it is. usually if the game says u did it right I press it again until the response actually comes up on screen and I get a path set. or it says denied.
Thanks guys, as you can tell I'm only a few days in to this sim so still learning. I was on one last night and I thought I had done everything to get the engine started but something was stopping it, I was clicking the mouse all over hoping something would appear I missed, but I got a message asking me if I wanted to hand over the control, I accepted and I got a lady driver, she was awesome, just wish I could see what she was doing but she was working on 'Thought Commands, no hands' lol.
