Steam Scenario "güterbetrieb" On Rsn (br363 Dlc) Broken

I'm right now hanging in the 363 scenario "Güterbetrieb" (don't know the english name) on RSN. Just picked up the first batch of loaded waggons after having fetched up several batches of empty waggons at Boele Holzlager (so about playing the scenario for about an hour and a half, so around 10:30 am). Waited at a red signal for about 25 minutes, dispatcher just answers "wait for signal to change". Actually, looking up the map, all signals on the route show a red light. There's a Dosto-train waiting outside Hohenlimburg with no AI-driver in it.

 

If that is "Trunk Service", it's broken since TSW3. Probably too old now to be fixed - they'll likely just remove it like some SPG tutorial(s).

 

As Spikee1975 points out and by your description it sounds indeed like the famous "Trunk Service". (Why that somewhat loose translation I can only guess.)

It worked in TSW2 ........... and then never again. So, I think you can kiss it goodbye.

 

Long time broken scenario. With no Preservation Crew and DTG losing interest in most former DLC, just like the broken G6 scenario on RRO unlikely to ever get fixed = Journey mode cannot be finished.

EDIT:

You can get past the red signal by holding "PZB Override" until the train is through the signal.

The problem is that the points HAVE NOT CHANGED, and you will be routed back to the train that you just uncoupled and took the lumber wagons from.

These are automatic points, not manual, so there is no way for the player to set the train onto the correct path back to the Yard.

I am walking all the way back to the Dosto stopped at a red signal now, to try and see why it is stopped.... this could take a very long time.

Ok, so I walked nearly 10km and found the Dosto stopped at signal S 041.

- No doors are open.
- It has not derailed.
- No points were wrongly routed.
- Nothing was on the tracks between here and the lumber yard.

So yeah. I have no idea what's happened.

At least someone reported the problem. I'll stop waiting for authorisation. Ahhhh how frustrating! DTG: Please remove the scenarios that don't work!

 

Yes. Especially if they prevent Journey Mode being completed. There is another one with the G6 on the Wuppertal route that can't be finished. But DTG do nothing to fix it or remove from the game.

 

According to Matt, Trunk Service seems to be finally fixed, but there is no mention of when the patch will be released.

 

Just wondering, did this actually get patched, as per Delta's comment? I bought this on sale last night and have only done the tutorial and the first bit with connecting logging wagons, then saved part way through.

I am liking what I see though. I got it as somebody recently sang its praises as an addition to Ruhr Sieg Nord.
