Hello! I have a proposal for a line to make in France, which is, by knowledge, extremely pretty. There could be a TGV service as there is between Nantes and Le Croisic with stops at Saint-Nazaire, Pornichet, La Baule-Escoublac and Le Pouliguen. Also make a TER service (which means Regional Express Transport) between Nantes and Le Croisic as it exists. An omnibus service between Nantes and Savenay, a semi-omnibus service between Nantes and Saint-Nazaire, and a rapid service between Nantes and Le Croisic. In addition to that, a good number of companies using freight rail are on the route, such as the Donges refinery, the Total factory or the gigantic Penhoët shipyard in Saint-Nazaire. Obviously the route is also very pretty and includes all types of line layouts. Between Nantes and Savenay, an urban universe with suburban trains stopping regularly at the small stations in between. Between Savenay and Saint-Nazaire, the line is double track (as on the previous part), very straight and allows good speeds with the few stations there are. The arrival at the port allows, for its part, to diminish and admire the liners. Finally, between Saint-Nazaire and Le Croisic, the line changes to a single track, still electrified, and runs along a more sinuous profile, but with closer stations. This part of the line passes, between La Baule-Escoublac and Le Croisic, in the fabulous salt marshes which border the track. Last mention, at Savenay there is a fork leading to Redon and the rest of the Brittany region, to the north. Some trains can then be made between Nantes and Savenay (although the TER Nantes - Rennes, for example, are non-stop) Information about the line : -> Length of 56 Miles (90 kilometers) -> Main stations : Nantes, Savenay, Saint-Nazaire, La Baule-Escoublac, Le Croisic -> TGV 2N2 Océane 800 for TGV services (Paris-Montparnasse - Saint-Nazaire - Le Croisic) -> Régio2N Z 56500 (in Pays de la Loire and Rémi livery) for Interloire (TER Orléans - Nantes (- Le Croisic on week-ends) who run at 200km/h) and omnibus TER between Nantes and Savenay -> Coradia Duplex TER2NNG Z 24500 (in Pays de la Loire livery) for TER services between Nantes and Saint-Nazaire or Le Croisic -> Maybe Coradia Polyvalent Régiolis Z 51500 (in Pays de la Loire livery) for TER Services between Nantes and Savenay (or Brittany if the player decides to do such a scenario) -> Maybe EMD Class 66 ESW and/or Alstom BB 75000 FRET SNCF can be added for freight trains on the line The French community knows how difficult it is to obtain rights from the SNCF to exploit the brands, but if one day it is possible, I think this route would really be an incredible addition to represent the lines in France.. Thank you for reading me !
Yes please. Love France, it's a beautiful country and it would be a joy to drive this route or maybe even the Bordeaux to Sarlat route along the Dordonge.
The line would be much too long, the journey between Nantes and Le Croisic is already 1h15 by TER. A TGV Paris - Le Croisic takes 3h30, no line on Train Simulator is as long as that (but obviously I admit that it would be great to be able to do the entire route )
I agree with you but it would be so good to have the whole line, in Paris we could have had the regio2n and a vb2n in special service, the 2nng in Centre-Val de Loire livery up to Le Mans, the ouigo Classic train from Le Mans or Versailles and even the TGV Réseaux and TGV Duplex in ouigo livery for the TGV Duplex and in Carmillon and Atlantic livery (in special service) for both. And suddenly it would be the longest French route in tsw4 or train simulator. And it could add Paris-le Mans via Chartre and Rambouillet, Paris austerlitz-Nantes via Versailles and the Transilien N line from Paris to Rambouillet as a Paid DLC at €15.
