Xbox Series X Class 377 Rear Gangway Doors Opening Bug When Starting Service

This bug is really annoying especially on BML. I can't play the 377 as the gangway doors on the rear are completely open. It is frustrating because the only 2 electrostars that don't have this bug on the route are the 375 which doesn't have the bug on SEH either. And the 387 Gatwick Express. It would be much appreciated if this bug could be sorted as it would be nice to go back to the 377 eventually on TSW without the bug.

It is very very annoying - and has been in the game since release (albeit not as frequently as it is now).

Workaround: Apparently, pressing "Reset simulation" in the pause menu can fix it, as can saving and reloading.

 

Also, opening the rear doors before starting a service and closing them before departure works.

Although why these workarounds need to exist I can't answer. In reality, having these doors open when the train is moving would likely get you the sack.
