DLC 458/4 & 458/5 SERVICES London waterloo to Windsor and Eton Riverside journery: 58 minutes calling at 20 stations London waterloo to Reading journery: 1 hour and 33 minutes calling at 28 stations AI TRAINS At Clapham Junction there would be Southern and Gatwick Express AI There would be Gwr AI at Reading. DEPOTS -Feltham Depot CONCLUSION Thank you for reading this suggestion I hope you like it.
Good suggestion, however it might be difficult as two parts of the route might make the route complex. Love to see Windor and Eton Riverside as it is a really nice station. I tend to walk passed it a lot and its really is an iconic station. One issue with the class 701 from Windsor is that currently they are doing 2 trains a day from Windsor. So there wouldn't be a lot in terms of the train, however I can see a class 450 on the route. The 458 might be useful for a route such as Waterloo to Bracknell. And the 455 might be be useful for either a Weybridge / Woking or Basingstoke route as they are popular on the route. And about the AI GWR, Windors & Eton central is an entirely different station to Windors & Eton Riverside so it wouldn't be possible.
I also prefer the Windsor and eton riverside to waterloo than the reading part because its got better scenery, it also has better stations. And for people who are time-restricted, it might be the better choice rather than reading. Depending on time, I think that Reading might be a bad idea.
This would be better with the line to Guildford and Basingstoke as well as the branches to Epsom and Chessington South.
Adding the Reading line along with the Windsor Riverside branch would give us an excuse to finally add the Class 166 to another route as AI on its North Downs services at the Reading end.
My personal favourite route. I think this is a good suggestion overall as it has a lot of freight and passenger variety. Not much I can say, but yeah good suggestion.
Great suggestion! I am hoping that this route will feature in the upcoming roadmap as I understand that there is no upcoming TFL route.
