Loading Coal In Free Roam

I've been searching the forum and internet and cannot seem to find this out, but is there a way to load hoppers from one of the loading facilities during a free roam session? I've tried pulling up to them thinking it would just automatically start, but it never does.

 

Nope, you need to load a consist either loaded or unloaded, they can’t be changed after that.

I'm new to this sim and I was on a run yesterday and was told to unload coal, only thing I could think of was to disconnect the full trucks, I was clicking on things in the cab thinking there was some kind of command in there.
Any way I took too long and was asked if I wanted to hand over controls so I agreed.

Sadly not possible. Coal/Aggregate loading/unloading is right up there with passenger loading/unloading for my most wanted features to improve freeroam.

 

Yes I tried loading passengers in Free Roam but they didn't want to board my train lol.

Hopefully they will add this feature to the free roam at some point.
In Clinchfield it would be awesome as there are a lot of loading points on that route so we would have endless possibilities and combinations to play there.
