Right, before you guys point out "SEHS has reached its maximum" "do you not read other SEHS posts?" ITS A SUGGESTION. The extension to Dover Priory (from ashford) is a 19 mile route calling at; -Westenhanger -Sandling -Folkestone West -Folkestone Central -Dover Priory Why am I specifically suggesting this? so GOBLIN will be released pretty soon, introducing the long-awaited trains going to Ripple Lane. There's just one problem.. we don't get some of the trains at Ripple Lane that travel towards Dollands Moor, even though about 92% of the route exists. All we need is just a small extension to include Dollands Moor...... and maybe a new freight train (DTG please....?), specifically the class 92. This should allow some driveable Southeastern services from Ashford International, some more stops for Southeastern High Speed and congest HS1 a bit more to really give the feel. Now, before you complain, I am not an expert at DTG nor do I know how things exactly work around here, but please do comment your feedback on here if you would like to.
Just going to point out DTG will not at all revisit this route, they've stated they're done with it. Not disagreeing with your suggestion, but it's safe to say anything new like this would be a separate route.
As much as id love for SEHS to go to Ramsgate & Dover Priory via Faversham and Ashford if we are being realistic, its never gonna happen. SEHS has very much reached its maximum potential. The most id extend it to is Sheerness. The route is bordering on the laggy side on a PS4 using the reduced timetable
It's a pretty cool idea, despite the very low chances of this route being expanded further, I'd say yeah, thisd fit
Don't worry, I understand the unrealistic post I've made, it was just a suggestion for your thoughts. Thanks for the feedback but I'm still open for more.
I have suggested this line before but set in the 1930s to use DTG's face down in the water Spirit of Steam. It would see the Golden Arrow added (as well as other steam locomotives) to the game running between Ashford and Dover Marine with local services going around to Dover Priory. I have also suggested having Ashford as a central station that sees routes going to Eastbourne to complete that unfinished East Coastway line, Ramsgate, Margate, Canterbury, Dover Priory and so on, as its own DLC. This one is a bit ambitious, but I like to have destination options and not a straightforward back-and-forth route.
