is a ticket marked non high speed 1 valid between Gravesend and Ebbsfleet, or does it become invalid at Gravesend ?

I only ask this as I’m working through the announcements (personal use only, I ain’t creating a mod or anything) and it may be ideal to include this one at Gravesend or Ebbsfleet.

Only HS1 serves ebbsfleet so if you buy a ticket to ebbsfleet you will have no choice but to use HS1.

Yes the ticket does become invalid at/after Gravesend.

How can that be if it is the only option to travel between the two stations ?

high speed only tickets come into force from ebbsfleet to St Pancras. East of ebbsfleet “not valid via high speed” does not apply any ticket is valid

Your welcome. High speed only tickets only come into force between St Pancras and ebbsfleet. A non high speed ticket is valid after ebbsfleet. Although no such Pa is made onboard the train not when I have used it anyway

Honestly I'm not sure, all I know for definite is that any ticket marked 'non hs1' cannot be used to/from Ebbsfleet by train.

it can east of ebbsfleet but not to or from st pancras which is where the restriction applies. Got to love uk ticketing and how complicated they make it lol

Strange, whenever I've travelled to or from Ebbsfleet I've always been told that you need a hs1 valid ticket but yeah I agree that the uk ticketing system is way to complicated, although I don't think southeastern have helped in this particular place.

Found 2 tickets going from Gravesend to Ashford International on the Southeastern website.
