Route Tauernbahn (austria) Schwarzach St. Veit - Spittal/millstättersee

Hello everyone,
my suggestion for a new route in TSW is the 80 kilometers long route "Tauernbahn" in Austria. This route starts at Schwarzach St.-Veit with the hight of 600m and climbs the Hohen Tauern to a high of 1200 m at Böckstein and then it descends to a high of 550 m at Spittal. There is mostly a double track, but at some parts there's only one track.
The whole route is electrificed.
Highlights at the Tauernbahn are the view into the Gasteintal, the Tauerntunnel and the possibility to transport cars by train throw the Tauerntunnel from Mallnitz-Obervellach to Böckstein and retour. This would be a completely new feature in TSW.
The trains there are mostly ICs, ECs, RJs, NJs, ICEs and freight traffic. There's only one regional train from Mallnitz to Spittal at the morning and from Spittal to Mallnitz at the evening.

Bad Hofgastein
Bad Gastein
Böckstein (only for the car-transport)
Mallnitz-Obervellach
Oberfalkenstein
Kolbnitz
Mühldorf-Möllbrücke
Pusarnitz
Spittal/Millstättersee

I love your idea! Not only would it be a scenic route, but also another chance for new ÖBB rolling stock.

Bring it on and in the case of everyone's favorite the railjet try playing it on HMA 08:40 & 20:30 trips these are the daily Frankfurt to Budapest Keleti. You actually have a late start from a 146.2 143 112 111 Doppelstockwagen 767.2 766.2 780 785 but then overtake it

 

Sounds great, I’m wishing to have more Austria routes and rollingstock in TSW!
