As has been said apart from moves to Hornsey 319 haven’t operated on the ECML. Maybe you have mistaken the 319s for a different train!!!

TBF I think they ended it because matt#4801 said he couldn’t be doing with an argument and then he didn’t respond to NotDavid when he put another post up!! If anything this may light the spark again!!!

I'll delete the post to keep the argument from sparking again...

Set this route in the Intercity swallow/ Network South East Era when the 91s were fresh trains

They could yes, it would feature the same trains so nothing is stopping DTG to make it in the era you're suggesting :)

I would prefer this in the present day, but what makes the route is the variety of operations possible. So it is important in my opinion that the Hertford Loop and Moorgate branches are included too.

I would also like it in the present day but I wanted to try something different :)

I agree about the Hertford Loop and Moorgate branches being added, you would require a 313 (1970s-2019) or 717 (2019-present) though ;)

717 can be made off from the Rush Hour Train Pack Class 700 BML due to the same body shell design. Sounds wise use AP Class 700 717 that way the Class 395 AC 444 450 DC sounds are not used on class 717 Moorgate Branch Northern City Line. 313/1 can be made off 313/2 East Coastway

making it modern day is more beneficial for both parties as less trains for dtg to make and more variety

The 313/1 needs some minor changes versus the 313/2 e.g. roller blinds, different seating, adding a pantograph and much more, the 717 is way simpler to do as you would use the method you mentioned ;)

North London Line but during NSE era or Silverlink/early London Overground era, Watford DC Line among others :)

So anything that Silverlink Metro used to operate or anything NSE used to run around London using 313s ;)

Good stuff. Though I'd prefer the current, slightly in the future era but... Those 91s man.

I agree with both of you here, next time I do an ECML suggestion, I'll make sure it's modern day ;), regardless of section :)

Less trains to make but more variety!

In the early 2000's you had class 170, HST and 91 operating over the ECML as well as class 313, 317, 365 and I think possibly the class 321.

For me it is a far more interesting era, although I do like the ECML class 800's, the livery they wear suits them.

I think the GNER livery was one of the best post privitisation liveries.

Another brilliant suggestion for tsw that (somehow) hasn't been put into the game at the time I post this message. I'd definitely buy it if it came with the 225.
