    Hi everyone,

First of all, thanks for the feedback from the preview stream yesterday evening - the team loved hearing all the love for the Forth Bridge and the 170 in particular - but we’re aware that there are other areas of discussion that we need to address from what was shown yesterday.

The build used last night excluded various fixes that had already been made, so you will hear announcements and track joint sounds, and not see the low quality close up buildings in the version that releases next week on PC. Console versions may have the latest build later than release around 10am on Tuesday, due to the release process on each platform. We appreciate your patience as we align the builds.

Here’s a quick video recorded after the stream yesterday to show off the recorded announcements and track joints:

We’ve heard your feedback on timetable variety and have already started work on adding the Cowdenbeath, Scottish Heritage and Railtour services - meaning 30-40 new services will be added in post-launch patches that we’ll get out as quickly as we can.

We’re committed to continue working on the route after the release. We are also still committed to adding the Leven branch to the route as a free update. We’ll start working on it once the branch has been re-opened in real life (scheduled for June 2024).

Thank you for the continued feedback, and we hope you'll enjoy the route when we release on Tuesday. In the meantime, have a great weekend! :)

Thank you to everyone for sharing feedback on the route, we are working closely with Rivet Games to make Fife Circle as best as it can be, and we'll keep you updated on progress for improvements.

As a note, the release date for the Fife Circle Line will remain unchanged and will be arriving on Tuesday, March 26th.

For anyone who wants to catch our preview last night, you can find it on our YouTube channel with timestamps for the different services we showcased.

Thank you all for your patience today as we've worked with the Rivet team to confirm the details above, we hope you all have a good weekend. :)

    Hey folks,

thanks again for the ongoing feedback we're receiving, much appreciated!
We wanted to share a few more details on the upcoming update with you before the weekend. The update will include:
    • 33 new services added to the base layer. To & from Edinburgh Waverley -> Cowdenbeath.
    • A layer with 6 railtour services using the Flying Scotsman Loco, Mk1 & Mk2 coaches and the Blackpool Large Logo Class 47.
    • A layer with 2 railtour services using the Black Jubilee with Mk1 coaches.
There'll be many other improvements included, but that's the definite stuff that we can share right now. We'll share news as soon as we know more, both about included fixes and a time-frame for the update to release.
To manage expectations though, this won't be something that releases in a couple of weeks. We'll provide an update for you in April's Roadmap on the 9th.

Thanks very much for your patience and enjoy your Easter weekend in the meantime!
