Every time I start a journey from Doncaster on Flying Scotsman or any other train, the game will crash when departing. It is the same issue when approaching Doncaster from Peterborough. After passing the freight yard before Doncaster Station, I always have to quickly save my progress before it crashes. It happens on both: the reduced and full timetable, and has been like this ever since it released on TSW 4 for Xbox One (gen 8). Please help.
If it is happening on the reduced timetable as well, I would suggest you both to submit a support ticket to DTG. Unfortunately, I cannot help much more than this.
I think it's more of a hardware problem than anything else. 8th gen is starting to show its age I think.
Perhaps, but that should not inhibit players from playing the route. If something is available to play on gen8, there is a minimum expectation that it should work. If this was an issue of route quality (such as low resolution textures) then it can be argued that this is a gen8 issue, but if a game that is sold on gen8 crashes, then that is a game issue. If the route cannot work on gen8 without crashing, then it should not have been sold on gen8.
Hi, I've been playing tsw since tsw2 and I bought tsw4 and was very exited because I train spot and the lner was a route since started to play route the game seems to crash and kick me out the game all together and when I save the progress and go back in the train automatically crashes without me doing anything. Sorry if this doesn't make sense but the autism might not help with full stops and ext
Hello and welcome. Are you on Xbox One like elaineedwards2013? Do you have any Creator's Club liveries? Does this only happen around Doncaster?
Thank you for your welcome yes I'm on xbox like elaineedward no I've not created liverys.i do timetable mode like a train driver. Because I've always wanted to be one
I had the same issue. Best guess is its because you're on Xbox One, its increasingly unable to cope with the game.
This one and the Southeastern one (which crashed at Stratford International) both kept crashing for me. I upgraded to a Series X (for reasons not related to these crashes) and the problem disappeared.
