So where’s the bunny? I’ve completed a tutorial, checked that tier 1 mastery shows as completed, headed back to the training centre and searched all over the reception area. No rabbit to be seen. Quite Eggstraordinary. He’s hopped it. Perhaps he’s rampant.
All fifteen found! I used a train to circle the main loop, spotting them as I went and then used the free camera to fly about and spot the others from the sky. Filled an evening for sure!
I suppose it’s a collectible thing, not every member on the forums will want to take part and not every member will like every post. They’ve done something when they didn’t have to in my opinion, and it was an enjoyable hunt. edit: spelling error
Ah! I think I’ve been caught out with this before. I don’t use mastery much so had forgotten about this. It doesn’t say anything about “Now go to the route and activate mastery” once the tier is complete. You would think that once you complete it, it should appear without having to do something else that they don’t tell you about.
Once you've collected all 15 eggs the article says to go check out the last egg in the basket. Is this just a visual or is something meant to happen?
How do I know if the Easter Eggs are turned on? I have been in the Mastery but cannot seem to turn off the Christmas decorations, so how do I know if the eggs have turned on properly? I have driven around the lines, explored the center, no eggs. Eggs are definitely turned on! I've logged out and in again, I've logged into the Dovetail Live and linked my Steam account. Still its always Christmas, never (it seems) Easter regardless of what I do with Mastery
That one isn't the egg layer. There is a separate layer for the eggs (with an Easter pic). I'm not sure why there blank one is there but as far as i can tell it doesn't do anything.
Ah - thanks. I'd done a couple of routes but it had not registered them. Now it has! Still **** Christmas all the time, though...
It's not a great user experience from the beginning. You see the list of possible Mastery items on one menu, including those you have achieved, but you need to activate them on an entirely different menu. It doesn't make much sense.
Indeed it does not. I find the UI and UX quite lacking, mostly the UX though. Also the available options, like FOV or at least a brightness and/or gamma slider. It would be good, especially to newcomers like myself, to have more in-depth tutorials about specific workings of loco's, safety systems and signalling. But as it is they often forget to tell you to close the passenger doors before driving off, or turning on/off the headlights.
Indeed, I remember the RHTT training module. Move the 66 forward, reverse back and couple to the wagons, move forward, end of training. Nothing about how to operate the RHTT as that was on the scenarios thus making the training pointless
yeah it was because you'd already done that training with the SEHS 66. Sadly it looks like that's all we're going to get for freight tutorials now exactly the same tutorial just a different loco
I've got nothing on my mastery rewards menu to activate on TSW3 I've completed a service and training module but nothing
Have you missed that we are in 2024 now??? https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/train-sim-world-4-easter-event-2024.80107/ Maybe DTG Alex can close this thread for good...
But at least it is relevant to this thread. He/she would probably have been flamed if they had opened a new thread when there is already one open. Damned if you do, damned if you don’t.
