I'm sorry but this is just sad! The American Steam page in the store only has 9 items and all are pretty old addons! Besides the the old western engines my bud Smokebox created, it seems like he is the only one who is making american steam engines as we speak. i think its time some more 20th Century Steam Locomotives, from Famous and Big, to Experimental and small.
list goes as is.(Ones in bold are the ones that people voted for on Train Amino)

    Southern Pacific:
    Gs-6
Ac-9 in Daylight Livery and Standard Livery
someone also please make a Aux Water tender for the GS-4 add on in daylight colors.

    N&W:
    J-class

    New York Central:
    S-1a Niagara
J3a Dreyfuss Hudson (Both 20th Century Ltd and ESE)
    The"Mercury" Streamlined Pacific

    L4-a Mohawk.

    PRR:
    S1 Duplex (Skirted and Deskirted)
T1 Duplex (1945 and rebuilt versions)
S2 Steam Turbine locomotive! (PLEASE!!!!! three diff types, one with no smoke deflectors, one with small ones, and another with the large smoke defletors.)
    Streamlined K4 "The Torpedo"

    Q1 and Q2 Duplexs

    Western Pacific:
    Gs-64

    B&O:
    Yellowbelly Hudson
    and M1 Steam turbine

    C&O:

    Allegheny

    any of these would do!

As a fellow US steam locomotive enthusiast, I whole heartedly agree with this post. Some revamps of older addons for US steam locomotives would be welcome as well!

Can't forget routes for some of these. May I also suggest the N&W A-Class and Y6b Class Mallets, the Virginian Blue Ridge 2-6-6-6s, NYC J1, J2, & J3 Hudsons, and definitely some ATSF steam: 2-10-10-2 Mallet, 2-10-4 Texas, "Blue Goose" Hudson, 3751 and 2900 4-8-4 Northerns, and 2-10-2 "Santa Fes." Also, a PRR or C&O 2-10-4 Texas.

Thank you so much for linking that! I've been using the hudsons all day, and so far the only issue I can see is that there is no chuffing sounds. They are very detailed models. Again thank you!

you have to place them in the editer not the consist maker and enable the files that use black 5 locomotive the guy who made it was not able to make a good enough chuffing sound so he used vinilla assets so you have to have the black five for it to have a chuffing sound he told me he is working on a update soon and maybe also looking for a sound that doesint use existing sound assets dont worry he did not pirate the sounds he make it so you have to have the train that has the sound for it to show up in the nyc hudsons

Would definitely love a NYC Mohawk! They are some of the best looking steam engines ever created.

We also need the UP 4-12-2 3-Cylinder engines. They would be great for Sherman Hill or the new UP Wasatch Route.
