Why wouldn't you maximise the amount of route above ground? You've chopped off the eastern and two of the western ends.
I didn't add them because I thought it would be more unlikely if it had over 40 stations as I didn't think dtg would do it and it would also make it easier for them to make but I'll change update my suggestion
Really like this. That said you’re better off having the full line rather than cutting it off at the ends. There’s already a 3d model of Ealing Broadway in TSM. Seems a bit silly not to reuse existing assets.
This route would be an absolute dream. These suggestions are the reason why I participate on the forums. I love the S7 stock, the route is beautiful and explores the vibrant culture of London. It would be great if we could have every branch but it would be vital to include the Eastern section beyond Barking all the way to Upminster. It would provide more AI trains at Barking and would most certainly be a popular route. Just Trains could help with the creation of this route. DTG please create this route.
It's a good route that whilst not needed, the trains are certainly needed. Routes which see the underground lines with S7/8 stock are the GWML and GOBLIN.
Ikr, it has some variety but the only thing rhat will actually immerse you is not the amount of trains since its just one train, but the amount of AI passengers especially in Central london
The way I see it DTG would probably do one of 2 things. They would add the Ealing to Upminster section only. Or they cut it to Tower Hill or Barking and add the other branch lines
Perhaps we could finally see District Line S7 stock at Ealing Broadway on GWE. Deserted without them.
They could always do the extensions to Edgware Road, Ealing Broadway, Richmond and Upminster which would be great. I would most like Ealing Broadway to Upminster.
The services the district line runs is Richmond to Upminster Ealing Broadway to Barking Wimbledon to Tower Hill Wimbledon to Edgware Road I know that as my dad was a driver on the district line for over 40 years
That sounds great. Your father would have played a massive role and deserves credit. Thanks for sharing that with us and I love hearing from real life drivers.
It's my favourite Underground Line, from my days of summer holiday trips into the city on CO/CP & R Stock to the latter days of D Stock. I would be happy with any era but modern would probably make sense and would likely be more popular. Just Trains are doing a route, they've done the Met Line before and made an S stock unit for TSC.
Why are people wanting underground dark tunnel routes. They will get very boring after a while. It's better being overground.
The District Line has sixty stations, more than half of them are above ground. I disagree, it brings something unique to the game and the Underground is travelled on by people coming from all corners of the globe. I find driving through miles of plain countryside doing nothing but acknowledging the vigilance alarm boring but each to their own as they say.
Yes lad, it's been a while since I've seen you here on the forums it's nice to see you here again, hope you're doing well
Everything is fine, thanks. I hope you are doing well too. I decided to take a break from the forums as I did not want to waste other peoples time reading my repetitive threads and opinions so I have made a return and love reading your posts and suggestions
You're not wasting your time at all. I've noticed a route will release and people will say 'who asked for this' and 'why didn't we get ECML and WCML combined with every train that ran on the line since 1985'. Well we have to be the ones to ask for the content we want, otherwise everything we do get will be one of those 'who asked for this releases'. Especially LU content, Bakerloo was a start but seems they've been avoiding it since and it took them who knows how many years to consider making it, seeing as suggestions for it started 10+ years ago on the TSC steam forums. Thank you, I'm glad you're back on the forums and likewise!
I will remain optimistic and carry on. What route is going to get released or is it still in it's early stages
Hasn't been revealed yet unfortunately, though I'm sure we both know what we'd want in terms of a new route release
