    Part 1: York Extension
York is a very major station not just on the ECML, but in the whole of the United Kingdom. Ending the ECML at Doncaster made no sense to me, York would have been a much more logical place to end it, especially since we haven't got a York route yet.

Here's a photo of the station:

It is around 27 miles from Doncaster to York and the travel time is around 20 minutes.

    Part 2: Possible DLCs

Class 91 Intercity 225 (In old Intercity livery)

The class 91 is one of the most requested DLCs for the ECML, as many like to see traditional trains on these modern lines. Which I completely agree with as there are still some running today.

    Class 43 HST (LNER Livery)

This DLC will be in LNER livery, even if the HST is already in the game. This DLC will be free if you already own either the Great Western Express or the Midland Mainline.

    Class 55 Deltic

The class 55 used to run frequent services on the ECML before they were replaced with the HSTs and Intercity 225s

    Class 60

The class 60 runs freight services across the UK including ECML alongside the Class 66.

    Class 70

The class 70 runs regular freight services across the UK including ECML alongside class 60 & 66

Class 55 Deltic needed as DLC. Also, Class 60 and Class 70.
