How Are You Suppose To Get The Pantagraph To Raise On The Class 710 On Gwe?

I swear I have seen people using the 710 on GWE with their Pantagraph raised, but whatever i do in timetable and spawning in the 710, the pantagraph just doesnt raise?? Is it just not possible with timetable mode + spawning in the train and you have to set everything up in a scenario planner so that the 710 can raise their Pantagraph in the route?

 

The GWE catenaries don't work

 

Catenary on GWE is fake, because in the time period GWE is set, the GWML was in the process of being electrified.

 

There's 3 platforms at Paddington that have power. To raise the panto you have to press the AC button then press the flashing raise panto button to raise the pantograph.

 

You'll likely have to do it on scenario planner with off the rails mode.

 

I have done a couple of runs in timetable mode. Spawn on foot at the depot, spawn the 710 and path it to the platforms closest to the lu line. You can drive as far as the ole goes on AC mode.

There is a section on one of the platforms with a gap in the power but you can coast past it.

It's the last 3 platforms. I usually spawn at the depot near Paddington and path the train to one of the platforms.
One of them has a gap in the electric so you need to coast over this.

But on GWE its fake in the sense no electric trains can run on it unless hauled by another train.
