    Country: USA

    Era: early 1940s

Length: Approximately 67 miles (108 km)

Description: Using Great Northern Railroad locomotives and rolling stock with schedules for passenger and freight work. *Note* I'm a big fan of US steam locomotives but I'm not too familiar with US railroad specifics so forgive me if some locomotives are historically incorrect for this route and/or information is a bit vague.

    Locomotives:

    Great Northern S-2 Class 4-8-4

Built by Baldwin and the first 4-8-4 I believe to be built with 80" drivers. For express passenger duties.

    Great Northern O-8 Class 2-8-2
North America's fastest, heaviest and most powerful Mikado's, these had 71" drivers and would mostly be assigned to freight duties, but could also, and did in real life, work passenger duties.

    Great Northern H-5 Class 4-6-2
Pacific wheel arrangement with 73" drivers used for passenger and freight work.

    Possible additional DLC:

    Great Northern R-2 Class 2-8-8-2

Home built by Great Northern Railroad with 63" drivers. For working massive freight duties. (Picture is of a model)
