I wish Dovetail did more European routes... It would be brilliant to see a country that has never appeared on TSW. (Besides Japan, which has been announced)
Well, I see the wish for foreign countries quite often here in the forum. DTG even had a question in the February survey about which country would players like to see next in TSW. I can't recall if Portugal was one of the possible answers, but I think Spain was. Many people just got in the flavor of liking foreign railways and routes. We had a thread where people raised their feelings about that topic. And while some people will always prefer their homeland railways, there are for sure enough people that would be willing to try a different taste in the TSW franchise, facing the fact that route releases aren't such a frequent thing as many people would like them to be.
From what I saw here on the forum, people ask for all types of trains. TSW's biggest problem is that they always place trains from the same regions, only Germany and England. At the end of each year they make new versions like TSW4 in which the menu is the same as 3 and features locos from Austria. As always, only the textures change and there are too many bugs and crashes, it even makes you angry, the game is poorly optimized and the signaling is often wrong, causing the system to stop the train immediately, But let's hope that Portugal enters the list of them.
