When I release the handbrake, according to the script, it won't let me go, and it still wants me to release the handbrake... I am doing something wrong? I have PS5 version
Anyone else having a problem with this scenario? I tried again today and I can't get past the task of releasing the handbrake

This worked in TSW2 and I've just tried it now in TSW4 on PS5. The handbrake full release doesn't trigger anything. The tool tip says "released" and so does the dial. But you get stuck right there. Game Over! So, what seems to work in your presentation (PC?) doesn't go forward on PS5.
Hi Chris, I watched this video before I wrote, I do the same thing, I get into the locomotive, I release the hand brake, but the scenario does not jump to the next step .... but Video is TSW 3, and I have TSW4 and PS5 I tried several times, it didn't work... so I don't know
That's the part I hate more than the plague in TSW: Any new iteration comes with exciting new bugs. On top of the already existing ones. As a cherry on top of the legacy, so to speak. And since I didn't play this scenario for a long time, I couldn't point to a transition point when this bug was introduced. Either from Number 3 to Number 4 or some ill-conceived patch that break more things then they fix.
Well, I bought TSW4 on PS5 two weeks ago, just because of Bernina and Arosa... and I have to say, especially Bernina Line, I'm disappointed, so many problems, errors, etc... shame I was also looking forward to Semmering ... but thanks to the current experience, I'm afraid to buy it ....... and at Semmering, I didn't quite understand why the trains have only Bmz coach, and no Amz (1.class) ... a bit cheap
Tried "Alpine Photoshoot" this morning on TSW4 (Xbox Series X), and fot the same handbrake not registering as released despite it being released, so the prompt doesn't disappear and advance the instructions problem, so the scenario is impossible and so is the Arosa "Alpine Performance" achievement/trophy. I'm absolutely amazed that Dovetail don't fix these things, or get the likes of Rivet to fix them.
Hello everyone. Has anyone solved this problem? I have the same problem with TSW5 on ps5. I don't have this problem with TSW2 on ps4, same scenario. This scenario is unplayable on PS5 TSW5.
If you want to play it again but on the PS5: Why can't you download and install TSW2, and get it done?
Hi, I downloaded all my contents on TSW5 PS5. But Arosalinie-Alpine Photoshoot scenario is unplayable. Because When I release the handbrake, according to the script at the beginning, game still wants me to release the handbrake. I tried applying-releasing again&again, change other end of loco, but nothing effect the "release handbreake" script. Because of this, this scenario is not progressing. From what I understand, this problem can occur not only on PS5 but also on PC and Xbox users.
DTG Charles Guys this is still not fixed. Should not be difficult. Can you PLEASE get this sorted? It should not take that long for bugs to get fixed.
DTG Chris, it’s cool that you answered OP’s request. But you should have followed the issue more closely if you were really interested about it. It is still bugged and the scenario is unplayable. I hope the ticket I’ll create will be treated. Honestly, it’s really boring to see that old issues are still around for so long. I’d love to praise you, because you make a very nice job, but the customer support is really awful Edit: For PC people, the god mode allows you to mark an objective as completed, so it’s a way to go past that issue.
I tried to this scenario on TSW2 but it was painfully slow moving the train, so I tried TSW3 and it worked better. Sad to say it will not be fixed in TSW4 as TSW5 is the most up to date version and as I write this TSW6 has been announced.
