Uploaded my first livery to creators club (TSW3). Presenting Victorian Railways (VicRail) "Teacup" livery. (Those from Australia will recognise most likely)
Hi all, I'm very new to the game and loving it. I'm currently designing some ICI tankers for the Blackpool branches DLC. The old ICI plant and Burn Naze disused line is right behind my house so it's great to see what it looked like all those years ago. I'm still learning so I hope you like my Work in progress pictures
I had some fun with the Class 314, here’s three of them with different liveries from TFL. I tried to imitate the Class 315. Class 315 TFL Rail:
The ALP-46 number 4640 in its special livery, I tried to be as much realistic as possible but sadly, I ran out of layers:
It’s been awhile since I’ve posted in this thread, but I wanted to share this livery I made the other day as I’m really proud of how it turned out!
EMD F125 as the LIRR DE30 AC, I think it’s detailed enough but I might improve the MTA logo later, it doesn’t looks correct now:
Not yet, I just put some yellow on the front of the cab and blue stripes. I can’t even say it looks like a C3, it misses a lot of details. I have other liveries to finish then I’ll take care of the C3. I was quite surprised to see how well it suits the F125.
I wouldve liked to download these. Tho I am struggling to find them on creators club. Have you uploaded these on creators club. If so can you give me a link to them?
Haven't done any liveries recently so decided to do a 47 as i bought the Blackpool line last week. Not totally correct as it's a 47/4 model but I think it gives a good impression of those summer Saturday passenger services using freight locos. Another Tinsley loco for the collection too. Now available on Creators Club.
I worked on yesterday's railfreight 47 and created yet another Tinsley Depot loco but this time in red stripe railfreight livery...... Another one for the summer Saturday passenger trains to/from Blackpool. This loco also carried one of the Tinsley unofficial names later in it's career so i may do another version of it with it's name but obviously the randomly spawning nameplates of the model would cover the unofficial name every so often. This one's also now on Creators Club.
Another one for the Summer Saturdays Collection..... This time 47157 in it's unique version of Railfreight Red Stripe livery with black painted headcode panels and small cabside numbers as it was in the late 80's. Available on Creators Club.
Last one for this week....... 142095 as it was just after the end of Regional Railways still in Regional Railways livery but de-branded and with patched paintwork and temporary Arriva wording & logos. I wanted to do it in normal Regional Railways livery but will need to create the wording using shapes unless the font is included in one of the routes? (I've not got any US routes installed at present but could re-install one if it meant getting the Times font required). Anyway it's on Creators Club as it is for now.
...nicely done! With the depth of field in photo mode the locos are looking a bit like small model trains. These are also almost all the liveries for the 218 during its service life. It's about time that some graffiti and weathering came into play, otherwise everyone will start painting on the Vectron again.
Thanks. As a matter of fact I was wondering why I forgot to include traffic red in the group shot after I took it... I've always liked my designs just a little weathered, generally; but I look to others such as yourself for some graffiti from time to time.
I deliberately chose a 1989 Bundesbahn logo and marking variant to coincide with the "Sonderzug nach Pankow". The Berlin Wall, which can be seen in the graffiti, was still standing then. Incidentally, the disguised penguin is supposed to represent Udo Lindenberg, hence the hat and the saxophone. Otherwise, the new DB logo is much simpler than the old Bundesbahn variant. No unnecessary serifs or thickened letters. We'll see...
