I have never completely 100% liked any route, payware, freeware, or donation ware. They all have pros and cons. I change what I can within my abilities knowing I do not have the skill set or tenacity to build a route from scratch. I have substituted power and rolling stock, added structures, scenery, track side objects, people, and vehicles. The only one route I liked 99% out of the box is the workshop New York Division, Bergan Line by minerman. One of the best detailed routes out there. I mainly run free roam so I am constantly building consists to run.

So we *are* talking about the freight car pack?

If so, the image is of a loaded center-beam car. They're a pretty basic design, not sure what is supposed to be missing?

As it was stated. It was an optical illusion from a bad camera angle. Nothing wrong. BTW this is freeware.

Jeez - we're way off topic. This is a wide angle shot, the vanishing point lies "inside" the car, so of course you won't see its sides. There's nothing wrong it besides being a bad choice of FOV.

High FOV (wide angle) = distortion, low FOV (narrow angle) = approaching isometry

Everyting is wrong. The side of the car is missing. :) And the trucks seem a bit off too.

It's simply a bad screenshot. What's wrong with the pics I posted?

That's not true, as proven above. I'm not sure what you are up to here, do you want to provoke people to report them? Pardon, but that's almost trolling from your side.

Sound great, but looks totally weird and unrealistic. Whatever the cause is. It is not correct.

You think it's not correct. Which is an opinion and valid but different from making a false statement that "It is not correct".

As you have once reported me and told me to stay off your back after asking what your "Legacy Forum account" is referring to, I've chosen to put you on Ignore to avoid squabbling.

Take an image with a real life wide angle lens (a real old fashion lens) and the side of the car would never have been missing.

On one hand it's called bulkhead flat, because it's a flatcar with high ends - to avoid slippage.
    20200830181115 - Wagon Flat-Bulkhead PRR, EMD SD40-2H NS.jpg
Also used with big objects like pipes:
    20231223090413 - Baldwin RF-16 PRR, Wagon Flat-Bulkhead PRR Mixed - Snowy Summer Day.jpg
A further version is which in my language we call "rakonca", where you have bars on the side. This can be used with wood.
    20180414135117_1.jpg
The bulkhead is not necessary, the German Ssylms flat wagons are essentially the same:
    20180710150853 - BR 294 DB Blue-Beige, Wagon Flat, Wagon Flat-Ssylms.jpg
The last example is the centerbeam, which is usually a bulkhead.
Just behind the tanks you can see the ones loaded with parcels, while in the background, next to the boxes, the open ones.
The parcels are typically just tied to the center beam, increasing loading and even carrying capacity compared to a box.

Yes, a bad poor perspective screenshot. Thank you for entertaining the possibility.
Anyway it is time to lock this off topic thread. By the way the world is flat.
