The Empire builder will be a great addition to Train Sim World with a route covering from Chicago all the way to Seattle and Portland. The great Northern Empire builder along side the Amtrak version could be used on this route. I think I would love the E units with streamlined budd passage cars to add some nostalgic on the route. https://www.gnrhs.org/documents/RS_sample.pdf https://youtu.be/teN-Y1wAu78?si=MnfS4kF_w038QUFZ
This train needs to be included in either a Marias Pass, Stevens Pass, or Columbia River Gorge route (all three routes should be made). These routes were originally operated by the Great Northern RR and later Burlington Northern and now, BNSF. As for rolling stock, I'd prefer a modern version of the train with Amtrak Siemens ALC-42 Chargers and Superliner Cars. P42DCs would be great to see as well. GN (or BN) F7s, E7s, or SDP45s would also be cool. The GN Big Sky Blue livery on the Empire Builder should be added as well. The Chargers would give players the chance to recreate the innaugural run of the new Amtrak units on the Empire Builder.
