1 trackside equipment HBD’s and DED’s 2 radio traffic i.e. a dispatcher 3 unexpected emergencies 4 a “wye” 5 diamond crossover at a 45 or 90 degree angle 6 switchback 7 single track main with passing sidings 8 mechanical issues
I like the emergency possibly a chance something may go wrong then having to sort out a tow, fix, etc
One thing that I want is less strict passanger boarding to allow for realistic runs with a real looking timetable. That is that the game should only care if you closed your doors after departure time and not if you had them open for a full minute.
Another suggestion AI train station staff and yard crew. This can simulate a real railroad where the crew can switch the yard tracks for freight and passenger trains. the station staff can help load the passengers and have also in collect tickets on board the train
These ideas with repairing stuff are good. But it’s gonna put a bad reputation on the train company so then train companies won’t be willing to put their content on TSW.
Never to mention that it's not a mechanic Sim but train sim. We already see a lot more features than in flight Sim World. I mean, I have never seen AI train going through the walls of stations and hovering while I see a lot of that in flight Sim (x-plane 11)
