How can I change the basic position of electricjunctions? And not make them controllable via the route map
I also would like to know how to change the default position of junctions, and also for manual junctions. I had a quick view in the detail settings of a junctions and hundreds of parameters and options but I can't find none to change the basic position but I'm still looking. Usually at least for automatic junctions, they're set correct according to the path you created for the service in the timetable editor.
You can change the basic position by selection the junction node in the node height selection mode. On the right panel the should be a setting called something like "initial state" or so. To make them controllable via the route map, I think you need to change whether the junction is an automatic or manual junction. It also has something to do with which junction motor asset you choose. I don't remember anymore but I know it is shown in the preview stream.
Yes, that was it. Go to Node Height mode (CTRL+Alt+H), select the node of the junction, go to the Details tab and set the parameter Initial State to 'Right Hand'. The default state is 'Left Hand'. Anyone knows what Timetable Override State is? I used it and it kind of has the same effect as "Initial state" but it has the dominance. My guess is that it's used for the distinction between timetable mode and maybe something like free roam. F.e. in free roam you can set the junction to direct to right by default, however in timetable mode this initial state could be overridden and set to direct left.
