PC Heads Up Windows 10 Upgrade 1903 -> Blue Screen (not Dtg's Problem)

Just a heads up... I let Windows 10 update to 1903 today. Later I tried to play TSW. Blue screen when it shifted video modes (when the white screen completely covers the screen). There are many many reports of Blue Screen with 1903 on systems that never had a problem before (not limited to TSW). I happen to use the nVidia GeForce GTX 1070, a very mature video adapter. I am running the very latest nVidia drivers. the system has been 100% stable for several years. Update to 1903, BOOM!

Just so you know you can recover (back-rev actually). Go into Settings (Start menu, gear icon) > Update & Security > Recovery > Go back to the previous version of Windows.

This is very very unlikely to be a DTG problem. Give MS a chance to spook it out and issue an update. Meanwhile roll back to the previous version of windows if this hits you. It might not!

 

I switched to the 1903 version, and no worries, neither for the games of DTG, nor those who are SCS.

Yes, I'm thinking it is to do with 1903 and nVidia and TSW combined. You guys' reports reinforces my belief that is is not a DTG problem:

 

I updated a week or so ago, amd adrenaline app wouldn't open.

I reccomend downloading the current driver to save, delete old driver and install new.

Worked for me, though on amd.

No I'm totally good. I just rolled back. I figure an update will take care of this. I have the latest nVidia driver and I had it before I let 1903 update.
