Did TSW ever reward you for riding around on the trains as a passenger? And if not why not?

    Don’t think so

There’s better things to focus on developing and improving in the game than something like this I think, especially considering the kinda things what would make sense in this case just don’t have much much value to the train sim than other important stuff.

it would be like an expansion focused on collectibles or mastery, there fine I use them, but expansions for them should be least priority.

You get “rewarded” with a trophy if you own Arosalinie for example, you have to ride as a passenger for 20 kilometers on this line.

No, and I guess because it couldn't count as something like a challenge to get trophies and rewards for, when you're just sitting in the seat and look out of the window.

Remember that you're not even getting Action Points, while standing up from the driver's seat, although it may has a purpose for the job. Now think about how the game would reward you when not suppose to make anything.

But regardless and in the spirit of the posts intention, I'm also all the way in for an improved passenger experience and a guard/ticket inspector as standard game mode and not just only in certain scenarios.

Riding as a passenger rewarded me, it rewarded me the ability to keep my console on and my TV on with no fear of burning the TV screen with a static image for nearly a hour when I had to rush out for family issues. When came back Stood up and crossed the cab to the driver and threw him out the seat and finished the freight run up sandpatch.......

I believe there was an achievement for riding up and down the Brighton Main Line as a passenger.

Yes, but as a lot of people who play train sims love going on trains as a passenger, so it could be an easy bolt on.

Yeah, but it would be a sit and watch, not leaving your console to make tea and do the housework. LoL

If I'm collectible hunting, I'll hitch a conveniently-timed train to the next stop

Yes, I would ride as a passenger during the collectible hunt since walk to another station may be time-consuming, what's more, it is a kind of relaxtion for me, as well as a good opportunity to enjoy scenery or discover easter eggs.

The little ride on BPO you do for the route introduction had me gorping every which way out of the window like an excited child trying to see what was about. :D

I like to ride as a passenger on new routes. It helps load the route and makes for fewer stutters the next time you load it. Then I'll ride up front to get to learn the route before driving it. I also quite enjoy standing at busy stations that have a lot of variety and just seeing what turns up. Jamaica LIRR, Battersea and Preston are favourites.
