Can someone on PS5 please share pictures of the cab including a close up on the SPAD brake demand/release panel in the Azuma cab after the latest core update please? Wondering whether to upgrade to PS5, and blurry in cab textures would be a deal breaker. Also would appreciate insight about how this platform manages DON IEP -> DON, DON -> DON IEP, Routes out of DON and Routes towards DON please? Unfortunately on the PS4, DON is a complete no go in either direction. Anyone who has moved from PS4 -> PS5, please may you share some of your observations about differences between the two platforms for TSW? How much better is the PS4, and in what ways please? These are fantastic Trainiac - thank you! So much higher resolution than the PS4! How do you find performance leaving DON when going southbound and before DON when going northbound please in timetable mode? There is a 1.5 or so mile section on the PS4 straight before or after DON where performance always suffers and once you reach the end of that section on departure from DON or once you reach the start of that section on arrival into DON it just crashes every time. This renders many services unplayable for me, and while DTG aught to fix the issue somehow as it affects many PS4 players, if they haven't fixed it in the planned summer UK routes update then I may 'have' to get a PS5.
Also just sitting at Doncaster I’m getting between 20-35fps but the rest of the route I get 50+fps and services to and from Doncaster are doable. I get the odd crash now and again but not nearly as often as on PS4 And besides the obvious like extra layers performance is generally much better (expect 50-60fps on most routes), texture quality for everything is much better and the clouds also look cloudier and less grainy.
That's good to know - thank you. Trying to mentally justify buying a new console - the resolution is appalling. The photos you took - how do you take photos in cab on the PS please? I can only figure it out for outside the cab and want to upload some photos.

I think it can be safely said: You won't regret it! It's nothing short of a quantum leap. And quite a few forum members confirm in several threads. Just two examples: I Just Switched From Ps4 To Ps5… Oh My God! Changing To Ps5 Is Really Worth It? BTW I keep my old PS4 buddy running. As amazing as it might sound, it's still running even more demanding games quite nice and smoothly. But TSW4 brings it to its knees. (Yeah well, let's not get started about TSW's optimization, or better the lack thereof). Go for it and -----> Enjoy the silence!
I am not sure about PS5, but on Steam, simply getting out of the seat while the train is moving is enough to get an internal screenshot.
