As someone who takes the LIRR daily and bought this original route way back when, I was happy to hear that TSW was updating this route and adding the M9. It's a pretty big improvement to what we had before, but there are still some changes that need to be made:

    1. The car number board on both the M7 and M9 should be illuminated when the master key is inserted.
    2. The ATC light (the blue dome-looking light in front of the cab window) should be illuminated on the M9 when the master key is inserted.
    3. On the M9, all the PIS signs, save for the ones on the front and back of the train, should have the number of the car in the consist (for example car 8 of 12). This information should alternate with the destination (on the outside of the train) and the next stop (on the inside of the train).
    3. The car stop signs at Merrilon Ave and Carle Place are still wrong.
    4. The ATC is a little too aggressive, dropping you to 3-4 mph under the new signal speed.
    5. I'm not sure if this is accurate or not, but why do both trains not accelerate unless they are in at least 40% throttle?

This is the Anti-Rollback feature (you can see the light for it illuminated on the right-hand screen)...its allegedly a feature of the IRL trains and is useful for hill-starts so the train doesn't unintentionally roll back upon brake release.

I do agree with the other points though!

Since that is been a week now, since the availability release date on April 30th. I've recently heard .. that their is a flaunt/issue on "the core dispatcher problem of a train getting stuck, from many trains waiting from a chain reaction of trains, getting stuck on a red light" after leaving Jamaica main station and at the same time, Grand CentralTerminal station as well (showed displayed on map view). I commented on a person, who was brave enough, to point this out to us on YouTube 2 days ago.

!!! This seems to be a Core issue ... on us ENJOYING THE PLAY OF THE GAME (Jornery mode not Route mode. As I understand you can ONLY delete trains on Route mode, Not Jornery mode). Even before getting ... and playing this game. IF, is been on the other versions, I personally haven't noticed it, yet (expect for one time). But, having this brought to my attention now. Especially at this release full price of $39.99 on PS4, that DTG expects for fans like myself, have been waiting for. THIS IS DISAPPOINTING to me (and I'm sure, I speak for many others too, who play TSW4 LIRR route frequently gamers).

Overall,.. from what I've seen from others, whom enjoyed everything else on the difference between the newer version and map extensions. I'm and we are 96% happy and satisfied with the improvements. (Eg; Map, new ext. Routes, Lighting, Lights, pis, frame rate & the new M9 train, etc.) But for someone like myself, who is STILL contiplanting "between my current emotions of getting this new version now". I'm concerned about others finding more core problems of a smooth game played experience.

I do understand that this core issue, won't get fixed overnight, or anytime soon (until a nearby future updated patch fix). But, at the "price" that you guys expect me to pay ($39.99) doesn't sit well with me and the many TSW LIRR fan base, enjoying their smooth core playing base senerios/route tasks. Sure, nothing is perfect ... but when it comes to a "CORE" situations of an enjoyable play experience ... is NOT worth the current non-sales price. I think ... Too much work went into all the details of other things ... but they (meaning the architect tech. Author/Creator of this 2.0 version) skipped or didn't see this core dispatcher issue happening within.

My bottom line is,... IF there's a problem or issue with one of the core main play of the game senerio. Then, please reduce the current price of $39.99 ... to $29.99 or less. Cause, WE KNOW ... eventually this will get fixed on a soon updated patch fixed. At the moment, NO ONE HAS or didn't bring this to the attention of the DTG group teams. Maybe you guys didn't think we would say anything, or that it wasn't a big nor consistent issue. But, as someone whos concerned about core game played issues, of a game and version (US LIRR) that I personally LOVE (being that I'm from NYC and have been a riders of these train in RL like previous commented "by Dam") .. I'm concerned and disappointed on this flaunt dispatcher Lighting issue, within the enjoyable contents exploited on this new game version.

The throttle is because of the non-existent Anti Roll Back feature. As per a Metro North engineer, the M7/As don’t have it. Not sure about the M9s.
I do agree on PTC being a tad on the aggressive side. The M9s are overly powerful at max acceleration.
