The central line is a London Underground line that goes from Ealing Broadway to Epping or Woodford via Hainault. But for this proposal I am doing Ealing Broadway to Hainault The terminus stations are: North Acton Ealing Broadway Hainault White City And Newbury Park The line uses 1992 stock trains which were put in service in 1993 they were made by Bombardier in Derby Litchurch works and are still in service on the underground. There are 2 types of 1992 stock 1992 stock at Ealing Broadway has an almost fully grey front These one departing and arriving at White city have no grey front (Only grey at the front cab door) Here are some pics 1992 stock at Stratford 1992 stock at Wanstead Depots: Hainault depot
You forgot to mention it also serves West Ruislip. If they were to make this route though why wouldn’t they do the full line. Ealing to Hainault is pretty much 75 %of the route, plus most trains don’t terminate at Hainault outside of peak hours. The total route length (46 miles) which isn’t outlandish for TSW either.
I knew that but I wanted to say the terminus’ for the proposal But your right And I thought West Ruislip to Epping would be too long Also most of the time I go on the central line trains go to Hainault via Newbury Park And on rush hour only trains go from Epping to West Ruislip
Shepherd’s Bush is at the bottom right and the line that goes westbound crosses over the eastbound line and comes out the wrong way This is because wood lane station used to be near white city and the trains used to loop back to Shepherd’s Bush And this is why(For those who have been on the central line)it takes longer to get to Shepherd’s Bush to White City than the other way Then they cross over again before East Acton
Nicely detailed proposal! Worth mentioning that this was one of the 25 routes DTG mentioned officially in the November survey a while ago (see this thread here: https://forums.dovetailgames.com/th...the-november-survey-discussion-i-guess.15376/) We don't know the results of that survey, and we don't know if DTG will even consider it, but at the very least they think they might be able to do this if enough people want it.
I love the tube for its history and architecture but I find the trains probably the least interesting thing about the network. This is coming from a regular tube user. The thought of driving them holds little interest for me but understand that others may hold a different opinion. Just giving my thoughts.
Cool I use the the central line mostly Or the Victoria line I can’t wait for the new tube for London to come out New tube for London
They do terminate at Hainault outside of peak hours when at Ealing Broadway I go on the route regularly
