Can we get a meaningful update from Rivet on where they are with the Fife updates ?
(please not a generic response of "they are working on them, we have no other details")

Will Rivet be doing anything else to improve Fife aside from additional timetable services ?

Since DTG makes the announcements, we have the Union Workshop route announced which is a long way off, can you also announce the next JT route, which is currently also a while off?
(we know you can, so please tell us)

 

Two questions that come to mind:

1. Any news on the ÖBB 1116 on Voralberg?
2. Can you PLEASE fix the Alerter going off in AI-trains on New York - Trenton? That can NOT be "Working as Expected" and is incredibly annoying.

Are there any updates on the 104 pack?
As it slipped into TBC and rather worryingly we haven't heard anything for 2 roadmaps since. Hopefully we don't lose it as its a highly anticipated one!

 

With DTG having the AMTRAK license, would it be possible to create more rolling stock like GE P40s or Siemens ALC-42 locomotives and superliner passenger cars that could be used in free roam and Cajon Pass as AMTRAKs Southwest Chief runs in the Cajon Pass?

 

Will the 158 be on cathcart? There's a few 2 car trains in the central screenshot

Pleased to see the list of feature improvements for the 801. However the DON crashes, and rear panto needing to be raised, wiper on wrong side (I think) - i.e. should be parked on right not left and temperamental guard panels and no buzzers haven't been mentioned. Any updates on these please? Can you also provide some more info on the opaque glass and GSMR audio fixes please? Not sure what the problems were with those originally so would help me and others understand. Thank you

 

Glad that Cathcart is getting upgraded to TOD4 now, makes more sense for the 380, albeit would have obviously preferred a new route as well as it being layered.

Can you confirm the night lighting of the stations will also be resolved as part of this upgrade, as they’re literally pitch black at the moment?

Could you also confirm if any progress on layering the 380 into Edinburgh to Glasgow and Fife Circle (even as AI) has been made?

 

Since Cathcart gets TOD4 with the class 380 will Hamburg Lübeck also get TOD4 with the 218?
Also will we see the 218 in May? Just asking because its in the 0-3 Months category and the roadmap article mentioned "as we get closer to the release of the DB BR 218".

Does this mean no 1116 passenger services on the route then? (I don't mean the few that are there now, I mean the frequent IC and RJ services). Hugely disappointing if so.

Is the ECML 801 PIS bug (where it shows the wrong next station stop) fixed in summer core update?

 

From what the developer said, they have brand new plans for it considering hma is not being updated any time soon to allow the 420 to run in the first place. That means tsg have to figure out how to bring it out

 

Wrong. DTG have to announce it. It's been stated that JT cannot divulge details until DTG ok it.

 

will the entirety of the scotrail fleet be modeled into TSW?

Hi guys, two questions, one in relation to steam, is Dovetail finished with Steam for good? Passengers, are they getting fixed?

Examples
They walk in front of the trains, shoot up in the air, are buried in the platforms, enter a train 166 and go out the other door onto the rails, fall from foot bridges in GWE Hayes in Harlington, Don't get on trains in NTP etc.

 

Is there any new on London Brighton (London commuter) and Munich Augsburg getting memory optimisation?
How is a fix for the PIS on Southeastern high speed coming along?

 

Are you able to talk the about the unnamed uk route in the 4-6 months section of the roadmap

 

Will the weather going from heavy fog to completely clear and sunny in under one second be solved in the summer core update?

 

What are the technical challenges in improving or overhauling passenger behavior? Why do we have trains with passengers in yards on some routes? Why are there trains that are full of passengers when starting a service and they all get off when i open the doors?

Passenger behavior should be improved at some point. It has remained largely the same bar a few cosmetic changes and it kills immersion operating empty trains whist routes have gotten busier and busier in TSW. Routes that are busy don't have trains that are empty in real life

 

Modeling the entirety of a fleet is going to be like impossible especially if the train no longer exists since entire fleet has to include all the trains from the past, present and future. If it's not on the roadmap, not being made

 

From what matt explained numerous times, steam is not being developed for an indefinite amount of time. They need an expert for it

Sums up DTG’s attitude really….cash grab ultimately. Are they really interested in moving things forward? I’m not so sure!

 

Recently I was impacted by the corrupted data issue on the PS4 (https://forums.dovetailgames.com/th...ta-because-it-is-corrupted.81174/#post-836658). Why doesn't DTG store progress and points against our dovetail live log ins please? It would avoid issues posed by this bug. Can DTG look into implementing this change please?

 

Of course the I didn't see this until last minute SMH. My questions are in regards to the Long Island railroad… When can we see the next patch?
I wanted to know the shadow texture is going to be addressed? Also wanted to know is there fix for the and many dispatcher related issues on Long Island railroad? Any updates on electrical sparks on the Long Island railroad?

Are sound levels in the azuma cab increased in the summer core update please? It's so quiet, but it would be nice to hear the running sounds including the motor change noise from ~40 to ~50 please.

 

Regarding the suspension updates - will these be toggle-able on PS4 please? I'm hoping it will just add another layer of realism, but am concerned in case it affects motion sickness.

AFAICT, the only RJ/RJX and EC services that appear anywhere along the route would be at Bludenz where the interchange with the Arlberg Rwy is, and Bregenz gets SBB ECs from Zurich. I don't believe OBB operates anything north to Lindau save REX and S-bahn. DB terminates at Lindau.

But they could at least put some EC coaches as static stock at Bludenz

 

1 Railjet runs to Bregenz every 2h from Vienna/Innsbruck, although one train pair was an IC service which continued to Lindau and beyond to Dortmund. I think and extra Railjet also ran to Lindau.

 

It's nice to see some bugs would be fixed in Summer Core Update, but why the PIS issue of SEHS still won't get fixed, that was requested repeatly since the release of TSW3. Are there any difficult that prevent this issue being fixed?
