Hi, I tried a little test today after finding a door opening problem with the IC wagon on the EN service in Vorarlberg. I always tested on coaches DB IC white, DB IC red and OBB Bmz I.Test ... 182 MRCE (some with Vectron ) DB IC white No, DB IC red OK, OBB Bmz OK
III.Test ... DB 101 ( same as BR 103 ) DB IC white OK, DB IC red OK, OBB Bmz open the door on the other side
Resume: I'm a bit confused by this, I still understand that the OBB Bmz works differently than older DB cars, but what I don't understand is the dysfunction with the white DB IC cars from the BR 101 pack in combination with the MRCE 182 or Vectron, when with the red DB IC cars it works well. With BR101 and BR103, the doors of both DB IC cars (white and red) are controlled the same, but with MRCE 182 and Vectron, they are all different... I don't understand
Negative impact on traffic in Vorarlberg: The add-on mod with EN service (MRCE 182) will not open the door in the case of AI pilot control for the above reasons, passengers do not board and the train does not leave the station and blocking traffic. At that point, there are only limited solutions to the problem. Delete the train via the map, so as not to block traffic or delete the Hamburg - Lübeck map and thereby deactivate this additional service.
On PC the easiest workaround is to deactivate the Hamburg-Lubeck.pak by just renaming it (to *.INACTIVE) for example. No need to delete / redownload anything.
If one buy a given map just to have an additional service in Vorarlberg, then it doesn't matter......I just hope that DTG will fix it, because from what I've seen on YT videos, it originally worked. Then it must have broken something. But it seems to me, that in general problems are increasing and no one is solving it. For example, users already reported this error sometime in November 2023, 6 months have passed and nothing ....
I'm afraid this doesn't have a working solution and nothing can be modified on the PS5 platform ..... or at least I don't know about it But it's actually bad news for users ...
