This route would be a great addition as Dovetail already have the licenses to WMR, the route is a suitable length in terms of distance and time to travel the route, as well as varied scenery along the route. Worcester Shrub Hill would require trains to change ends in the middle of the route, and the shuttle service to Stourbridge Town would allow a different, much shorter service to take place. Stations like Snow Hill are very different to current ones, and would allow a highly varied range of scenery throughout the route, from high-rise offices and car parks in Birmingham, to countryside level crossings at Hartelbury, this is a route that must be introduced to a modern timetable

I love this suggestion, but It would be great to hear your ideas in more detail like what trains would be used? Obviously kidiminster is home to severn valley railway would this be accessible? And are there posible railtours departing there we could interact with or drive onto the mainline? Also with the introduction of the 170 this could be implemented leaving us with the other 172 that wmr operate to introduce as a new unit. This route has a lot of opportunity as it could provide much needed layering to Birmingham new street which currently looks like covid has hit it all over again, and the scenarios could also be perfect with a big city and tourist locationa along the line.

A 172 and 170 are great additions to the game that could come to the route, and the additon of the severn valley railway would be brilliant if feasable. obviously new street would have to see these new wmr units layered into the cross city line, at new street and near moor street where the track passes overhead, and any services run by these trains which follow the cross city line, which would immediately become much bussier and more enjoyable.

Old thread but would love this too. Worcester Foregate St/Kidderminster - Stratford Upon Avon/Dorridge/Whitlocks End with 170's/172's

That route would certainly get my support. I would also add jpdfive's post make a lot of sense by adding the Snowhill to Stratford upon Avon section at some time.

I am new to TSW and I find it strange that some of the routes from say TSW2 and 3 are not added to in a explanation of some kind

That's an entirely different route altogether.

I like this suggestion a lot.

    It seems most plausible, too.

How awesome would the Stourbridge Shuttle be to whip around the main lines, up and down other routes and generally mess around with..
