I've saw the Official on TSW "How to play in Free Roam" both cases... walking and in senerio/timetable route mode. And I also read in a same/similar discussion in TSW General Discussion - PC platform. Many have had this same issue. I'm on TSW4 premium ps4 platform. And followed all the instructions on the full tutorial guide. However my spawn train is the M7 LIRR (4cars empty). And I ALSO been running that loco many times already... so yeah, I already know how to operate it. But, after setting my destination point. I can't even get the train to even move 1 mile. And tried like 5x or more and it still won't move. Not even the "I'M STUCK" option. For resetting the Loco functions. And still ... NOTHING. And the theory of not spawning the right train on the right voltage track. Doesn't apply ... cause that's the train natural track/route. ... ?? So, what's going on?? I'm pretty sure, is an easy fix or something I'm not doing right. But, can someone please help me. Cause after 2 hours of non-play. I just gave up. Disappointed,.. that I've never gotten to try that mode yet. And not sure will it be the same.
Several trains are broken in free roam at the moment (38 & 72 Stock, 484, 4024, M3, M7, maybe more), you probably aren't doing anything wrong. Hopefully a fix will come in the next patch, whenever that is
The CSX SPG SD40 SD40 2 GP38 2 dont work in free roam either wont power up no matter what you try I hope DTG can fix those too
