Is anyone able to help as I seem to have an issue. I have this light within my actor. as you can see it's working, however in the world it seems they aren't wanting to work. Even if I switch the light to be a rectangler light component rather then a spot same thing happens. I've checked light channels and their set to what I believe they should be. Any ideas what I need to do to fix this would be appreciated, Also, I'm unable to build lighting as it crashes the editor. DTG Matt DTG Alex sorry to ping you both but thought would be good for awareness to add to list of stuff not appearing to work in editor, also keeping in mind building the level or in my case the additional tiles added in my scenario is a basic UE thing that along with other stuff seems to be broke.
The light probably isnt bright enough - the editor uses "normal" light and the runtime game uses the "realistic" light levels - I often find when i load things in the editor they are like there's a sun blazing in the middle of the screen because of this - TL;DR - try making them 100 times brighter. Matt.
So this is in PIE and still doesn't seem to be having it. Below is the settings of one of the lights.
So update on this it seems they may have been working after upping value to in UE units silly high number but makes sense when doing realistic lighting levels.
