The M3 Line is the Milan underground line marked by the yellow color that leads from Comasina station to San Donato. It is 17.1 km long, started in 1981 and finished in 2003. Recently expanded with two new stops: Affori FN and Comasina. It is a semi-automatic line in the sense that the driver only controls the opening or closing of the doors and the departure of the convoy, but you can also drive normally. This map could be the first on TSW4 where you can choose whether to drive automatically or drive directly the whole train. The M3 yellow line of the Milan metro has 21 stations: From the Comasina stop it takes you to the San Donato terminus passing through the following stations: Affori FN, Affori centro, Dergano, Maciachini, Zara, Sondrio, Centrale, Repubblica, Turati, Montenapoleone, Duomo, Missori, Crocetta, Porta Romana, Lodi T.I.B.B. (P.ta Romana FS), Brenta, Corvetto, Porto di Mare, Rogoredo and San Donato. The line is entirely underground; the gauge is the ordinary one of 1435 mm. In the central section, between Porta Romana and Repubblica, the work is made up of two single-track tunnels superimposed at a considerable depth. The most critical point is the Duomo station, where the tunnel towards San Donato is the deepest point of the line and is over 20 meters deep, entirely immersed in groundwater and covered with PVC pipe. The technical commitment for the realization of this work was notable. In case of need due to breakdowns or other reasons, trains can make U-turns, as well as at the terminals, in the following stations: -Maciachini -Sondrio -Central Railway Station -Republic -Roman Gate -Praises TIBB -Brenta (only towards Comasina) -Rogoredo FS The M3 has only one depot, that of Rogoredo (so called as it was originally planned next to the district of the same name, however it was then physically built after the San Donato terminus), opened in 1991. The depot also includes an internal test ring , 1821 m long and equipped with two stations, one in the tunnel and the other outdoors, to better lend itself to the driving simulations conducted during staff training. Line 3 has used the ATP (Automatic Train Protection) and ATO (Automatic Train Operation) systems since its construction, which, as already mentioned, allow the trains to run almost completely automatically, without the presence of line signals: departure, stop, maintenance of the distance between convoys and speed regulation are performed automatically by the on-board electronics based on the indications received via radio from the ground systems. The drivers limit themselves to giving the commands to open and close the doors and to allow departure after the doors have closed, remaining ready to intervene in the event of situations that cannot be foreseen by the automation (for example if people or objects are found unauthorized on the tracks) or due to faults in the signaling system and/or the rolling stock which make automatic travel impossible: in the latter case the operators have the task of manually driving the trains. The trains that are used are the 1st and 2nd batch electric trains. And finally there is Meneghino To complete the entire route in both directions it takes 30 minutes and at the end of the train the trains must go to the trunks of the 2 terminus and the driver must change the cabin. I hope this subway line will be added to the game, as this map could be the first map set in Italy thanks for watching and like to support this project.
This idea is a bad idea. People need to able be able to drive train and controls door. Not just control doors. Letting driver just control door and not driver isn't fun.
but look, you can decide whether to do it automatically and you open and close the doors or you control the entire train, you decide how to drive
