So there's this 3rd party for Train Simulator Classic called SimTogether. They have been making a lot of Dutch routes for TS Classic, and some in other European countries. If SimTogether became a 3rd party for TSW, that means we would definitely get Dutch routes in TSW, and possibly Belgium, the Czech Republic and Sweden. That would be insane! We would be able to get a much better variety of routes outside the UK, USA and Germany. This would give other countries in Europe a chance at appearing in TSW, and produce more routes that the fans want in the rest of Europe outside the UK, Germany and Austria. Here's a link to their website: https://simtogether.com/
Sorry but this is a forum and freeware creators are publish their stuff... This is not a 3rd party developer but more like Rail-Sim or Trainsimcommunity with a sharing community function
Okay, thanks for letting me know. But still, it would be really cool to see a Dutch route in the game.
Chris Longhurst from ChrisTrains has a lot of licenses, or at least permissions to use brand names, colours and trademarks: https://christrains.com/en/trademarks.html He'd make a good choice for developing NS trains for TSW, but of course a Dutch route requires lots of specific Dutch assets, more than windmills and tulip fields. the landscape is flat, heavily urbanised, and plonking down generic Germany, British or US assets won't do, neither do the usual rows of bushes, trees and stacked containers. Noise barriers, though, are a different matter, but even these come in many shapes and forms
Chris has confirmed earlier he will not step in TSW.... So from this side there is nothing to expect.
I actually once talked to Chris on FB and asked him if he wants to get into TSW. Sadly he said he has no interest as he fears that the development process takes much longer. But anyways.. writing to 3rd parties and asking them to join TSW is actually a good way to show that there's interest. I might have done that once or twice and it might actually have worked. Might. Who knows..?
Thanks for letting me know, I really appreciate it! And I hope there are more 3rd parties in the future to make good quality routes or fix bugs to make poor quality routes good quality. For example, NYC - Trenton.
They should and for a collaboration project the HDBU Hollandstrecke Duisburg/Bochum-Utrecht that way HRR is busy with Bochum-Zevenaar freight trains using the Mülheim an der Ruhr junction. By following DB Baureihe 1429 single voltage and Tri voltage versions S3 Oberhausen to Essen Steele Ost fast line RB40 RE16 S1. complicating this route are the RSN Werdohl bound Falnqqs 130 and Falrrs C-Akv 189s due to their weight of 6.6k us tons 6,000 Metric tons
