A big wish of mine: Connecting both routes by building München - Grafing - Rosenheim and München - Holzkirchen - Salzburg. "Layering" the routes so you can drive from Augsburg to Salzburg without changing the Map. Maybe throw in the S7 to Kreuzstraße and expand it to Wolfratshausen on the other Side. Full S3 (and maybe S7) and finally the whole S-Bahn Stammstrecke. A new Timetable and one really big (merged) Map. And now i stop dreaming and go to work :P
Phew... that would be one heck of a map. Really sorry for having to play devil's advocate here, but... well. While I'd appreciate getting more content in and around München for sure, and the area between München and Rosenheim would be nice especially for S-Bahn lovers, I don't think putting all this on one big map would be reasonable... not to say technically impossible. In my opinion, there are 3 main arguments going against this: -The München area is immensely complex, in regard of its train system. The existing München-Augsburg route already suffers from performance problems even with hardly any AI trains being present in the München area. And this route would have to include even more of it, the whole eastern station area, the connection (Südring) and so on. -München-Augsburg is a pretty old route by now. Even if someone would try and build this huge monster of a route, the München-Augsburg part would have to be built largely from scratch. -Most services in this area begin and terminate at München, there are hardly any that run through over the whole length. The only ones I can think of are some cargo hauls coming from Augsburg heading towards Salzburg and beyond. And the daily pair of Intercitys from Augsburg to Freilassing and back. So most trains would begin/terminate at München anyway. Not counting the S-Bahn services of course. Sorry, but I don't see much chance for this one
