Hello guys, I was wondering why since the new owner of DTG was introduced, we did not get a total refurbishment of the LGV Mediterannee ? The same treatment for LIRR needs to be done for this TSW2 route, plus it’s very unfortunate that DTG didn’t jump on the occasion to introduce a French Commuter route with the Jeux Olympique being in Paris … Aniway, the plan is to make an extension and go beyond Avignon until Lyon St Exupery which will add 1 hour of journey to the north and from Marseille st Charles to Nice which will add 30 minutes journey in the Southeast of France DTG, What do you think ? I wouldn't mind a French commuter route, but an extra hour and a half of high-speed running on top of what we already have, holds no interest for me.
Any route upgrades are independent dev projects. They take a lot of time and dtg don't have a team to update old content. They also need the devs for new content. The main issue with more French high speed is the length. The next logical endpoint is >100 miles which is too long and too much for tsw.
