I just loaded the game from Steam onto a new pc and none of my achievements, schedules played or anything else came over. It has me starting over at the beginning. Any ideas from other Steam users as how to get them loaded? Thanks

Is it tied to Dovetail Live, perhaps. But otherwise you would think Steam would preserve your achievements on their servers.

OldVern, I am signed into Dovetail Live and right, you would think Steam would have saved and installed all the current settings.

Sadly sounds like you need to run the gauntlet of DTG and Steam support on the matter, then.

    Hi Sharon E ,

I am sorry to hear that you are having trouble getting your game setup on a new PC. Please note that Steam achievements are tied to your Steam account and exist outside the game, regardless of whether you have the game installed or not. However, I believe you are referring to the medal scoring systems within the game, which is tied to your in-game profile. Dovetail Live does not save your in-game progress. It can only be used to track your Railfan Shots, Mastery Challenges & Rewards.

You will find this information on the support knowledge base:
    https://dovetailgames.freshdesk.com...064482-how-do-i-backup-restore-my-saved-data-

"It is important to remember that many games do not use "cloud saves" and instead store your saved data on your PC. Therefore, it is important to make sure your data is secure, should anything happen to your PC.

Therefore, if you plan to make any changes to your computer such as uninstalling the game, moving to a new computer or reinstalling Windows, you will need to backup your saved data. "

Chris, thinks, I have backed up my saved data, just have not reinstalled it yet.

That did it, again thanks Chris.
