I think a few people mentioned this before that icons or any other data do not show up (at least after a while). Seems to be a bug in the Editor. Maybe it also depends on your graphic card. A few things. Did you load up your/any project map? Cause in the screenshot I can see that you're in the frontend level. I would try it there another time.
