Could this route be possible for TSW 4? It covers 45.6 miles (73.4km) of the line between Lanyon Place Station in Belfast to Dundalk Station in County Louth.

There would be 20 stations including

    1. Yorkgate
    2. Lanyon Place
    3. Botanic
    4. City Hospital
    5. Great Victoria Street
    6. Adelaide
    7. Balmoral
    8. Finaghy
    9. Dunmurry
    10. Derriaghy
    11. Lambeg
    12. Hilden
    13. Lisburn
    14. Moira
    15. Lurgan
    16. Portadown
    17. Scarva
    18. Poyntzpass
    19. Newry
    20. Dundalk

    Trains would be:

Enterprise De Dietrich Set (Runs Belfast - Dublin)
    Max speed 90mph

IE 201 Class (Runs Dublin - Belfast)
Max speed 102mph (runs in 90mph on Enterprise)

NIR C3K DMU (Runs all NI Routes but can work the Belfast to Dublin Enterprise when required).
    Max speed 90mph

NIR C4K DMU (Used in Northern Ireland only)
    Max speed 90mph

IE 29K DMU (Used on ROI Routes but is used on the Dublin - Belfast Enterprise when required)
    Max speed 75mph
    [IMG]
IE 22K DMU (Used on ROI Routes but can be used on Dublin - Belfast Enterprise when required)
Max speed 100mph (limited to 90mph on Northern Line)

Let me know if this is possible!

Given the lack of payware Irish (north or south) routes in TSC and I think there was one in MSTS, seems unlikely there would be much of a commercial case for this under DTG's "LAMP" process. We don't even know if they could get a licence for NIR/(C)IE.

Yes there was an MSTS Enterprise Route. I actually have it.

I emailed Translink and they were OK with it.

Will need to check again tomorrow and also check with IE.

Should have a response by 7 June.

EDIT: I should have added that I should have a reply by 7 June from Translink. Will email Irish Rail tomorrow.

Don’t really see the point in emailing them. Any approach is going to have to come from DTG or one of their professional associates. And that will only happen if they feel such a project is viable. I also suspect licensing is a far more complex issue than, “Can we use your livery/logo in a train sim”, as we saw with LIRR and their insistence on certain steps being taken to ensure malcontents can’t use the game as a trainer to hijack the real thing.
