Exactly, I don’t think he read it properly. What confuses me is, What would be the reason for intentionally having it listed on the PIS if it isn’t going to be there?
Hi folks, just to confirm, these names are placeholders whilst our teams put all of the timetables into our systems to help understand platform allocations and what gaps there are for things like rail tours etc.
Hmmmmm, most interesting having your ‘placeholder’ name be of a real TOC that just so happens to run to that station and which you also have the copyright permission for. No but seriously thanks for the explanation, hopefully these spaces in the timetable will get filled in eventually.
We had Acela services in the timetable for Boston long before there we even decided to make an Acela, just for comparison. Matt.
Exactly the same reason as Hull Trains and Lumo having their names on services on ECML, it's just for layering purposes should it come available.
