Vigilance Alarm Class 700

i cannot hear the alarm go off only when brakes come anybody have same problem

 

The breakes are supposed to be a engaged if you do not acknowledge the alarm. That is how it is irl. You need to acknowledge it for the brakes to not come on.

 

i turn all safety systems on hit aws when it goes off at station release brakes push foot pedel for vigilence to go off then can move but cannot hear alarm when driving

 

Make sure you’ve got both DVD & DSD on. The vigilance will only sound every minute if you haven’t touched the power/brake handle and it can only be heard from the cab.

 

yes all safey on as u said after a minute but cant hear alarm hit vigilence pedel brakes release throttle off and go again

 

The alarm is at a good enough volume to hear.

 

I don't have the Class 700 DLC.

As I understand it, The OP is unable to hear the vigilance alarm on the Class 700. They only know that the vigilance alarm had activated when the emergency brakes are applied. This is similar to the issue on the Class 313.

It seems, however, that no one has been able to recreate the issue.

Can you hear the AWS sound?

 

while driving red needle brake goes to 3 bar no audiable tone push q or red button raildriver goes to 0 bar throttle back to 0 you can power up again if quick enough loose 10 mph. getting tone for aws and upcoming speed reduction

 

I’m not sure what the problem is? Could you be tripping the TPWS? Is your volume turned up?

 

yes aws very loud when rest dra loud thanks for your help all other dmu emu class 66 work fine
