I was running TSW just over an hour ago without any issues. When I just tried to restart another session my screen looked like this image and it doesn't respond. I have removed all mods and it still is doing the same thing. The only way it will shut down is going into Steam and pressing the stop button. I am also unable to open the settings.
I have had some crazy things happen with the game lately and this is another. Somehow my Graphics Preset had gotten changed from Ultra to high and this seems to be what was causing this issue. I have moved it back to ultra and reloaded my mods and its running ok now. For anyone who saw my earlier issues, this is a new computer that I brought online earlier this week.
did you copy over the whole Documents\my games\TrainSimWorld4 to the new pc but then forgot to delete the file GameUserSettings.ini ? since it is a new pc you probably had to reconfigure the settings for TSW 4 unless its the same graphics card + monitors it is the only thing i can think of that could cause it or some weird setting in Nvidia itself since you use a multiple monitor setup if i remember correct
Thorgred, I did copy the save section of the file over, not the entire thing. You are correct in the multiple monitor setup. What seems strange to me, the only thing I chnaged to get everything back to normal was graphics preset from high to ultra.
that is 1 of the rules for pc strange things happens i even had once this happen on train simulator happened when i was trying nvidia settings out in nvidiaProfileInspector
when loading the game from Steam, the loading screen got stuck early on, so I tried validating files first, didnt help... then I did restart my PC and woalla ... could play Koln Aachen with 442 before bed
