Anyone who has travelled along the ECML has probably noticed the glorious church that is situated in Grantham, one of the most striking buildings visible on the route from London only surpassed by Durham Cathedral and the York Minster and perhaps some well known landmarks in London like Alexandra palace and Emirates. Now in the game there is a church of some sorts situated on the site but it looks nothing like the gothic masterpiece that is the real church and also the 6th highest spire in England, of course this isn't a major issue really but i would be good to see the church added in possible updates as it does sort of define the town.

Would be good to see included, church bells like those heard on NTP could be a nice feature too. Newcastle-York would be another great DLC as would include both Durham Cathedral and the Minster as you've mentioned.

Noticeable landmarks should be visible really. Grantham parish church is indeed very fine. Truro cathedral was a shadow of it's real self but Rivet did upgrade it.

It’s little things like this that ruin routes sadly. Another good example being the goblin line. They have a really good scenario focused on football stadiums along the route. Yet you don’t see a single one of them modelled sadly.

Emirates isn't visible from the Line and Tottenham is 2 miles up the road from South Tottenham station.

You would see them if you look outside the train in the direction

Probably yes though I do think that Goblin was really well done considering the challenge of building a route in Europe's biggest city, the omission of two distant stadiums isn't to me a major issue as they are not easily visible from the line anyway.

I'm Grantham born and bred, so please indulge me if I go a little too indepth.

St Wulframs is indeed a national landmark (third tallest church spire in the country, sixth if cathedrals are included). But it appears to have been left out entirely.

There is a church just south of Grantham station which I presume is meant to represent St John's Spitalgate. It is in about the right place (for a representation in a game).

The only other church like object I can see in game is just to the north of the station, however, it appears to be more in the location of the Guildhall (home of the Mayor and Charter Trustees of Grantham).

Whilst not perfect, they've done an ok job of representing the road network. In the picture below, I am at the end of Station Road looking down Warf Road. At the end of Warf Road roughly where number 1 is on the picture below is St Peter's Hill where the Guildhall is located.

St Wulframs is further North closer to where I've marked number 2.
