Hello everyone, I've found out that editor has a big button called "marketplace" so I assume I could use assets from unreal engine store. But when I try to add it to the project there's just no TSW projects in the list. Is there another way I should do that? Maybe there's a special guide for importing assets from store to TSW Editor?
Easiest way is to also have Unreal engine 4.27 (or it might be 4.26) installed. Then you will have the option from the epic games Launcher to add the marketplace asset to a project in UE 4.27. After you open the project with the asset up in UE 4.27, select the asset, and in the top menu select the option to "migrate selected actor" or something like that. Then select the content folder of your plugin. It will probably need fixing up in terms of textures and materials, as the TSW editor is missing nodes and features the real UE has. Also, some assets will simply not be able to work, but this is the best method I'm aware of.
Yeah indeed, be aware that not all marketplace assets will work out of the box in TSW Editor. We had a chap on here who had to replace missing instances of loop nodes in blueprints they downloaded from the marketplace, it worked eventually but it took some effort.
That wouldn't happen to be me you're referring to, would it? I still remember the migraine I got from doing that!
