I drove Birmingham NS - Blake Street- Bromsgrove then saved the game and left. When i came back the tasks wont come back. Ive waited for the next service to start which was 07:08 (07:10 departure) and the tasks still didnt show. As im typing this it asked if I wanted to leave the service which I said yes to and then went and took over the train again. Im now 5 mins late. Edit: The destination isnt displaying either
That's why you don't save. Save game issues have been going around for a while and the only workaround to this is to not save until dtg get their hands around fixing it
It was general fixes but it wasn't loco specific fixes. There are still plenty of save game bugs to this day.
Save game on the original player train is generally reliable these days. Where it falls down is if you complete a run with one service then return to another and save that. That’s when you find the objective data is lost and the run or scenario cannot be finished. DTG remain silent on this, despite the fact being able to save and continue passing through multiple services is the whole point of a timetable mode where you can do an entire drivers shift or stay on the route as long as you like. Their lack of attention to something so basic tells me they don’t understand or even know how to fix their own code.
