Hi all, I've been mad busy recently and haven't even had a chance to turn the playstation on tbh let alone anything else, last roadmap i saw was possibly may but can't remember, I saw there was mention of a uk route by just trains I think, wondered if we have any general updates regarding new routes etc.

No nothing interesting from that roadmap, continued this year's trend.

Been a tough year for produce at the TSW farm. Definitely a low yield, unless the second half of the year will be bombarded with content

Yes very lean. Can only hope something special being worked on for TSW5 or the summer bundle.

Man cannot live on Goblin alone!

I guess a part of the story has also been that they had a lot of work with providing fixes for not only recent content but also some backlog... at least thats the impression I got from news articles and activity on the forum :)

We only have the Class 158, Class 380 and the Cathcart Circle revamp to look forward to in the immediate future. My best guess is that we're not likely to hear about any more upcoming UK content until later in the summer, for release early autumn at the earliest.

At first glance, the relative lack of releases right now might seem crazy considering the amount of developers that are constantly working on TSW content. But if we look at years past, the DLCs always sort of come in waves. There’s more content in winter and spring, and then summer and fall are mostly spent on preparing for the next TSW iteration and polishing the core game post-release. Many 3rd party devs don’t want to release big projects for games that will become obsolete almost immediately. It’s less of a problem if you’re releasing packs for existing content I suppose (like the Skyhook pack last year, or the TSG loco DLCs this year).

This is pure speculation, but perhaps more resources have been put into producing the two Austrian routes we've had in the last 12 months as opposed to more UK/US/DE routes, especially with the UK content as we've had two 3rd party UK route releases in the past year to make up the shortfall.

I think young Alex lost one of the darts they throw at the wall map. Red flighted dart equals the start point, blue flighted the end point...
