to be honest, I just got bored of the Long Beach and I want to go to oyster Bay now
I don’t care what you guys think Long Island railroad needs more trains it’s not the same it’s really not for the people who are asking for more detail look it up it’s not that hard I got stuff to do IRL so don’t bother me about it but if we can get Oyster, that would be sweet,

That's a great idea for a future add on pack for the route and add the railroad's non-electric trains into the game.

I doubt DTG will revisit LIRR so soon if at all. There are other routes across the collection that should be looked at for a possible extension before coming back to one that’s just been done. TVL to Boulby and Bishop Auckland, for one.

I understand why they implemented the Long Beach Branch to the extension which was to add more services from the south shore lines to accompany the busier timetable we have, but I do agree that the lack of diesel services is bit of a let down. The addition of the Oyster Bay or the Port Jefferson Branches should really be looked into some time in the future. This current LIRR2 add on seems to be really popular so I’d hope this would provoke some kind of a proposal to add diesel services in the future.

In my opinion the Port Jefferson Branch would be the best option since it would also include Huntington station which is a proper EMU terminal as opposed to Hicksville.

I agree, but oyster Bay would be easier for dovetail allowing us to have our own area for diesels there will still be AI services that continue outside of the map, allowing “” the cannonball “” to make the map seem bigger than it is, and to be honest, dovetail has the ability to make the entire route. I don’t know why they don’t choose to though people would buy and make a lot of rail fans, happy and more likely to purchase DSW. Besides, this route has been out since the original TSw, which to be honest till this day it’s still seem small even with the upgrade but I’m not complaining because I do enjoy this route. I just wish it was bigger allowing us to explore more. Long Island is not city and buildings. There is a whole countryside out there towards the east and I an itch that only dovetail can itch and I want to go east, but only dovetail, can help.

I agree the Lirr route is great but diesel service would make it completely enjoyable to to the fact you would never get bored with it. I think dovetail should strongly consider to complete the whole lirr system piece by piece. Maybe next could be the Ronkonkoma and Port Jefferson branches. Then Babylon branch to Speonk to start then later to Montauk. Then Oyster bay, Far Rockaway, Port Washington and last to Greenpoint. Dovetail would basically be able to make alot off capital because many people would like to see it happen so come on dovetail folks you came this far might as well complete it
